Mercedes testing EVs with solid-state batteries on the road 'in a few months'

- lazzurs 2y agoNot sure how this makes sense when I am driving an excellent Mercedes EV today. While they do sell ICE vehicles still they have a great line of EVs and clearly are moving more in that direction.
- kozinc 2y agoTo me, this is more like "maybe hold off on buying a vehicle for just a bit longer until we got our shit in order (and know exactly how much we can charge you)."

- itishappy 2y agoWhy would you buy an ICE vehicle today when scotch yokes and freevalves are just around the corner? The technology just isn't ready!
