I've found that a meditation practice allows me to find that space more easily in real life situations. At the very least, you'll know when you're being "amygdala hijacked" (per the article).
- tyberns 2y agoI have never heard that quote before. Gonna tuck that away for future use because it serves as a great reminder that we are not powerless to our emotional response. Its the difference between a reaction and a reflex.
