I have had this issue with different servers almost monthly, servers going down for 1 or 2 days, without any announcement or communication. They never say if anything is wrong, never apologies, have regular "unplanned maintenances", contacting support is almost impossible (or takes 3-4 days for a reply). As OP did, I am also migrating from Contabo to Hetzner.
