Overall, good job.
- BryanLegend 2y agoThey also have kept the unity logo splash screen being optional which is nice.
- jncfhnb 2y agoI would say it’s entirely irrelevant to being nice. Unity demanding that every garbage tier game flaunt that it was made with Unity seemed like it was a net negative for unity itself.
- nox101 2y agoIs the same true of Unreal?
- jarsin 2y agoNo, it's the exact opposite. You have to get permission to use the Unreal logo.
- jncfhnb 2y agoYou do not need to show a splash screen for unreal. In fact, I believe you need to get permission to do so, even if they’re only go to refuse for porn and shit. You do need to reference them in the credits.
- 0cf8612b2e1e 2y agoThat is a minor thing that really annoys me. Modern games all look like NASCAR when they start.
- OnionBlender 2y agoFor some PC games, you can delete the video files for those intros in order to start the game faster.
- 0cf8612b2e1e 2y agoSimple idea, although I assume Steam periodically runs integrity checks which would restore the missing file? Minor savings for my GOG library.
- OnionBlender 2y agoYou're right. Every time the game updates, I have to re-delete the files.
