This is a bit of #1 and #3.
Sure, #2 would be great, but #1 (mouth breathing bad) seems highly likely given both studying anatomy and modeling the physics of breathe and also given his dataset #3.
- wizzwizz4 2y agoNone of the evidence in that book supports this claim. (It's a mixture of unrelated anthropological observations, and appeal to nature.) I agree that mouth breathing is probably bad. I don't agree that it causes spinal deformation or smallpox. I really don't think taping the mouth shut is a safe treatment for sleep apnea.
