Half Baked: Why Podcasts Need to End

I listen to a few podcasts, like 99% Invisible, Talk Python To Me, and Stuff You Missed in History Class. These are similar to what the link quotes Clara Papenoe Thor as describing as "radio shows (which sometimes include 'pod' in their titles ...)". I've tried to listen to other podcasts, but most end up being people yammering forever on topics they only partially understand, or as the link summarizes Thor's characterization, "the format as such revolves around half-baked ideas." If that's what most podcasts are like - which seems to be the case given the jokes I hear - then I agree.
