Another Fred Brooks quote on why programming is fun:

- keybored 2y agoFreed Brooks, the manager who wrote that most programmers should be the handmaidens of the 10X programmers. I don’t think I’m going to take hints on fun and autonomy as a programmer from that man.
- xandrius 2y agoIf it resonates with you, why not? Words have power in their own way regardless of who utters them.
- keybored 2y agoYou can’t (royal you) associate a quote with a famous person in order for it to be apparently more credible and profound and then swivel and say “no, forget who that was” when people complain about that person. The cat’s out of the bag. Pick a lane. No silver bullets in quoting rhetoric.
