If the way forward for Tesla is to outsource this work to xAI, then Musk plainly doesn't believe Tesla is going to solve autonomy.
Why is Musk still CEO of Tesla?
- Zigurd 2y agoSuppose you were offered that job. Reasonably, the board (full of Elon's buddies and relatives) will want almost all your compensation tied to the share price. The share price is down by half from the peak, but still has 10X the PE ratio of Toyota. Tesla will not get a new CEO without there being a severe crisis.
- TheAlchemist 2y agoI'm not surprised at all that Tesla board doesn't do anything (it's all family & friends after all). I'm very surprised that the SEC allows all of this.
