I dont think 200 years is sufficient. The 19th century is the beginning of the industrial revolution and well into colonial rule by European empires.
- skybrian 2y agoUnfortunately the data gets a lot worse, so you don’t get the nice graphs anymore. But historians do try. Ancient empires were not any better; they all had slavery. The lesson of history is that living in historical times was mostly terrible for most people.
