Not taking on any dependencies would seriously slow down most projects I work on.

- TimeBearingDown 2y agoPerformative? It’s a simple trade-off. Some prefer to be frustrated in different ways.

- wpietri 2y agoYes, and it's those people we might best learn from. But that's hard to do, because they're the ones not writing about what they're doing. Possibly because they don't want their sincere views reflexively dismissed for being about the upvotes.
