By Fargate, did you mean Farscape? I didn't watch it until like 10 years ago and really enjoyed it even though it's the opposite of Star Trek. Babylon 5 is what I grew up on at a very young age and it really partially shaped how I see the world today in a way.
- pndy 2y agoI just recently started watching it while ignoring it years ago - back then I just simply didn't like that format Farscape along with Andromeda tried to introduce. But nowadays, both shows feel unique compared to other space operas and are quite enjoyable - just like old Star Trek and B5 are.
- 7thaccount 2y agoThey just re-released some kind of Farscape Anniversary comic via a Kickstarter campaign if you're interested. It seems to extend the story a bit.

- compsciphd 2y agoFargate is Stargate SG1 after Ben Browder and Claudia Black joined it?
- hnlmorg 2y agoHaha nicely done. I did rather like SG1s parody of Farscape for this (iirc) 200th episode.
- nobody9999 2y agoI also really enjoyed SG1s parody of SG1 in the 100th episode[0]. "Go for Marty!" [0] https://stargate.fandom.com/wiki/Wormhole_X-Treme!_(episode) https://stargate.fandom.com/wiki/Wormhole_X-Treme!_(episode)

- hnlmorg 2y agoSorry yes, Farscape. I must have AWS on my mind at the moment.
