Is it ok to be like this?
- bartolomej 2y agoI recently came across an interesting situation on X where a customer shared some rather critical feedback. What surprised me was the developer's response. Instead of considering the feedback as potentially valid points, they chose to mock the customer. This approach goes against my business philosophy. When I ran my own company, we treated every dissatisfied customer with the utmost care. We often offered refunds and always strived to ensure customer satisfaction. The developer's dismissive reaction doesn't align with my understanding of good business practices. I'm curious if I'm overlooking something or if there's a perspective I haven't considered.
- mtmail 2y agoCheck their Twitter profile. The customer is building a competing product (on their homepage "All you need to ship your app fast and get profitable"), their post is an attempt at inserting themselves into the conversation with an "$established-product sucks" post.
- bartolomej 2y agook, this is something I did not find out at the first glance. Thank you for pointing this out!
