Oh - did they remove SSH access? With a RM2 you could go to Settings > General > About > Copyrights and licenses and you were shown an IP address and the root password for SSH.. No they didn't - you just have to activate "Developer mode" (forcing a factory reset, so don't set up too much, you'll have to repeat it all..)
