I only use Copilot and Claude to do all the boilerplate and honestly just the mechanical part of writing code. But I don't use it to come up with solutions. I'll do my thing understanding the problem, figuring out a solution, etc. and once I've done everything to ensure I know what needs to be written, I use to AI to do most of that. It saves a hell of a lot of time and typing.
