  I share this a lot with my coworkers to encourage them to share their ideas. I've held it as a principle for myself for some time. I hope you find some wisdom in it.

  I've been blurting out my idiot ideas a lot of times, and now people think I'm an idiot. It happened so many times that I think of myself as an idiot.

      I mean, feeling like an idiot and hearing/reading the equivalent of "you are an idiot" so often that you start to believe it is not a great experience.
