I cannot verify this story (ironically, I not only googled but consulted two different AI's, the brand-new "Reflection" model (which is quite impressive) as well as OpenAI's GPT4o... They both say that the Thule moon false alarm occurred a year after Khrushchev's visit to New York) Point noted though.
