It doesn't take a Ph.D. to understand that, under primitive conditions, larger brains ==>> increased deaths in childbirth ==>> selective pressure. Nor mention that, in ice age conditions, a "wastefully" large brain is better 24x7 source of body heat. Again, selective pressure. Nor ...
