Apache SkyWalking – Application Performance Monitor tool for Distributed Systems
- KronisLV 2y agoOh hey, I've used this to monitor what's going on inside of some containerized apps. In my experience so far, it's one of the more easy to set up APM platforms - doesn't have too many moving parts and runs pretty well. The only thing that I didn't particularly enjoy was running ElasticSearch since that made the overall solution somewhat heavyweight, however there are alternative storage options available: https://skywalking.apache.org/docs/main/next/en/setup/backend/backend-storage/ https://skywalking.apache.org/docs/main/next/en/setup/backen... Honestly, for most of the limited scale setups out there, MySQL/MariaDB or PostgreSQL makes a decent amount of sense and are also pretty easy to run.
