  > It would be much better if they were not factory farmed Our lives would we worse without eggs, soy, pork or tomatoes. Domestication of animals and plants gave us this. Either we start killing humans in mass, or we learn how to increase and improve our sources of food production. I prefer the second option. Fishes can feed more people than cattle with the same resources because (unlikely mammals or poultry), they don't need to spend part of its food to keep a high temperature constant, neither need (inedible) heavy bones to sustain its corpse. Therefore, they grow fast and have less discarded parts.
