It looks like Alex maintains this project: https://www.kernel.org/doc/man-pages/ https://www.kernel.org/doc/man-pages/ If I understand correctly, this project is the upstream source of man pages that document system calls, special files, libraries functions, and other interfaces in the kernel. Perhaps the impact will be these pages will no longer be updated as frequently, unless someone takes over?
