Damn boy, universities got so hard to pass nowadays, that reject the 70% as 'F' grade?!
- 2f0ja 2y agoIn most of my undergrad CS classes you needed at least a C- (70%) to advance to the next course, so really anything below that was basically an "F". In grad school I believe I needed at least a B (80%) to get credit - no pressure!
- stefanos82 2y agoYeah, that's what I remember as well; in my case, to remedy the whole mediocre situation, they would ask you (your professors) to write a final project and present it to them so they can give you a re-evaluation and change the 'C-' to something better, even a 'B'!
- anta40 2y agoThat's a higher bar. When I was undergrad student, A was > 85% and F was very likely 0 - 30% (??). Probably I still have my student guide book stored somewhere else. And also there's D & E. Yes, my academic transcript shows it.
