X’s position is that it will acquiesce to lawful requests but the Brazilian judges demands are actually contrary to Brazilian constitution and laws. One can argue as some HN commentators have that this is incorrect but thats a separate issue. Musk’s stance on free speech here is principled and non-contradictory.
