It’s a great idea. I think some day we will look back and be shocked at how much waste went into housing, and consequently how much extra houses cost than they needed to. No one is optimizing for pipe and electrical runs, wood use, etc. having 10-25 excellent, thoughtfully designed options could save a lot of money and material, and make life easier and faster for trades.
