LibreOffice Timeline
- mg 2y agoEvery now and then I stumble over the problem that in LibreOffice, you cannot date-format the x-axis of a chart. So no x/y chart with lines at the 1st of every month for example. https://x.com/marekgibney/status/1454757289043406849 https://x.com/marekgibney/status/1454757289043406849 It's a mistery to me how that is still not fixed.
- senkora 2y agoA few months ago I was bothered enough by an unrelated LibreOffice bug to download the source and try to fix it. I didn't get very far. It's an impressive application but the code is byzantine. Also, all of the variables are named in Hungarian Notation.
- minkles 2y agoHeh it still hangs for 30 seconds every time I open a spreadsheet on windows when my printer is turned off. Has been doing that for at least 15 years. I avoid office type packages now when I can.
- mkesper 2y agoIf only the ASF would donate the openoffice.org trademark to the Document Foundation the world would be better and no one would download an office suite dead for over 10 years.
