The main pushback we get is from our floor planners who work offsite in customer's homes - that extra 2 minutes or so while it boots from scratch apparently seems like an eternity when you're in a dirty and hazardous environment.
- BlueTemplar 2y agoIf their computer(s) needs a whopping 2 minutes to boot from scratch, they need to switch to an SSD (or switch to an OS that doesn't suck). Unless this is about setting up some kind of custom work environment on top of the boot ?
