Probably they don't read Hackernews anymore.
I personally think re-learning into construction / architecture as a backup plan. IMO we are all living in overly costly and ugly houses, so maybe it could be improved at least a bit :)
- eande 2y agoAgree housing is expense no matter where you look US, Europe, Australia and so many more. You do mention “a bit” annd I’d argue the material, design and housing cost itself to build is by now a far smaller portion for most urban/suburban places where the majority of people are. IMO land and regulations/policies is really where majority of prices have driven up for housing price.
