I was furious when Medicare Advantage came out because I saw it as the first step of privatizing Medicare in the U.S. which forced millions of people into contracts with private health companies. It was then I was done with the Neoliberal Democrats. I am on permanent disability and in the last three years there has been constant pressure for me to sign up and I always refuse. They want to switch me to more expensive meds when the generics work fine. Medicare Advantage is just another transfer of wealth to the top.
