Projects I've finished are usually always projects I want more than I want to make them.
For example, I made a notes web app that syncs to S3, has full text search, has a "daily note" button that auto creates a note for the day, etc. This app was not the most fun and exciting app to make, but I made it anyway because I wanted it to exist.
There comes a point in projects where you're in the middle of it and you want to switch and do something else. But if you constantly find the desire for the thing you're making, invariably you'll finish. And it gets more fun after the trough of boredom.
