Show HN: Exit-Insights:Uncover why visitors exit your website without converting
Hey everyone, I’m thrilled to launch Exit-Insights on this fine monday evening.
Problem: When my co-founders and I were working on our individual projects, one common issue we faced was around conversion. We used to drive traffic but had literally no idea why visitors left the landing page without converting.
What we needed: We needed two pieces of information
1.Why did the visitors not convert?
2.Where did these visitors come from?
Solution: While brainstorming we decided to build a simple tool that would help us and other founders as well to solve this problem hence we got to work and built Exit-Insights in a span of a few weeks.
Founders would be able to retrieve detailed insights into why visitors leave without converting their landing page that would help them further tweak their landing page and improve conversion.
- codingdave 2y agoSo this will get you answers from that subset of people who are leaving your website, but will respond to a pop-up? What percentage of exiting users do you find that to be?
- Kravee 2y agoGood question, there isn't a precise number to it as the conversion numbers can vary website to website. The psychology behind the product is that good people do exist who wouldn't mind quickly providing a feedback before exiting the website. Every little feedback counts and helps.

- josepra 2y agodoes it work well on mobile devices too? Many of our users access our site primarily from their phones
- Kravee 2y agoThe logic on the mobile devices is slightly different so we are still working on finding a solution for mobile visitors.
