- pjmlp 2y agoHaving done so for many years in Tcl, I rather have a JIT or AOT toolchain in the reference implementation, regardless of how easy it is to use the C FFI.
- dathinab 2y agoin general I agree not having to write external extensions/plugins is always better then having to write them no matter how easy it is but that isn't the design path python choose (in general, PyPy did choose that path)
