Ask it this.
"Please spell the word strawberry with a phonetic representation of each letter then tell me how many 'r's are in the word strawberry?"
It's gotten the answer right every time I've tried.
- gaganyaan 2y agoAnother one is to just ask it to spell it out with dashes in between each letter. If anyone's wondering, it then gets it right because that changes the tokenization, changing how the model actually "sees" it.
