Never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of tapes hurtling down the highway. —Tanenbaum, Andrew S. (1996). Computer Networks. New Jersey: Prentice-Hall. p. 83. ISBN 0-13-349945-6.

- wazoox 14y agoA Volvo full of LTO-5 tapes still has a very respectable bandwidth. LTOs come in 20 tapes boxes, about 10 litres in volume; a Volvo break with backseat down fits about 1500 litres, so you should be able to fit 150 boxes of 20 tapes = 150 x 20 x 1.5 = 4.5 Petabytes.
