Thomas Middelhoff commuted with helicopter from Bielefeld to Essen (about 100 Miles) for some time while he was CEO of Arcandor. Reportedly 28 flights for about 80 k€ total. "Peanuts" as they say here in Germany but it became a big deal after Arcandor went bancrupt. Thomas Middelhoff was in the end convicted of embezzlement and tax evasion (the flights were part of the trials but not the main one).
