Yeah, can you imagine a business selling to the bad space man. Don’t they know they’re supposed to hate him?

- kergonath 2y agoWell, he is known for stiffing his contractors and creditors.
- IncreasePosts 2y agoNo, he isn't.
- albumen 2y agoDid he end up paying all these guys? https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2023/09/musks-unpaid-bills-dozens-of-lawsuits-try-to-force-twitter-aka-x-to-pay-up/ https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2023/09/musks-unpaid-bil...
- IncreasePosts 2y agoWhether he did or not is not the same as saying he is "known for it". If you asked 1000 random people to say what they know about Elon musk, what percent do you think will say "oh. You mean the guy that doesn't pay vendors!" Also. What is the base rate for contract disputes with vendors among large companies? He runs 3 large companies, surely with tens of thousands of contracts for services. There will always be disputes there - is his rate higher than average? Does he lose very dispute in court?
- asadotzler 2y agoThere are plenty of articles calling his companies out specifically and few calling other similar companies out so you can take your what ifs somewhere else.
- IncreasePosts 2y agoMaybe because anything "Elon musk", including what he randomly tweets on the toilet, is news, but a random contract dispute with GE and a vendor is not news.
- slater 2y agoHe is.
- asadotzler 2y agoHe is. Read the web (and the room) friend.
- TMWNN 2y ago"Read the room" is just a variant of the appeal to authority fallacy.
- worstspotgain 2y ago[flagged]
- ant6n 2y agoIf you post irrelevant or thoughtless takes, you will get vote down by anyone, even those who don’t like musk.
- worstspotgain 2y agoYou're entitled to your opinion, but I always strive for thoughtfulness and relevance.
