  But agents aren't people? If an agent is doing your will then give it your credit card. It's funny to see the previous hype cycle desperately trying to jump onto the current one.

  As if algorithmic trading, automatic bill pay, and scheduled direct debits haven’t existed for decades. No one calls those things AI — they have obvious utility without needing a hype buzzword — but the same work gets done.
