- kelsey98765431 2y agoI had a nice version of this from maybe 2019 or 2020 that I kept above my desk for reference while working before moving to a new home a while back. I really liked it and may end up getting another one, I would prefer something a bit newer but it does take time to compile and make these. Highly reccomended for anyone working in the online space, I found a lot of cool foreign services I had no idea existed through the map.
- ainiriand 2y agoI don't understand why Firefox is a dot inside Mozilla and Safari or Chrome gets land of their own apart from their parent companies.
- tetris11 2y agoaren't the masses scaled to interaction size, and FF vs Chrome or Safari is literally a dot compared to them?
- ainiriand 2y agoNot sure about that, but maybe you are right. I think Firefox holds like half the market share vs Safari on desktop, I do not think that merits hiding all Firefox achievements into a dot in the map.

- tazu 2y agoCan you explain what it's showing? I clicked the "About" link but there's no README, and all I see is a Clickhouse query. What is the data?
- philipwhiuk 2y agoThe image is a Hilbert curve map of the IPv4 address space, with each pixel (block when zoomed in) representing an IP address. See https://xkcd.com/195/ https://xkcd.com/195/ The colour of pixel represents the domain name. The R,G and B components are resolved based on the TLD - so my.company.com and bob.company.com have the same G and B components but a different shade of red. For example, the light purple of the 52.x.y.z block all resolve to AWS Compute domains. On the left middle of the image much of the 34.x.y.z block resolve to googleusercontent.
