It's disappointing to see you dismiss Ghost Keys without understanding their purpose.
To clarify, Ghost Keys are not cryptotokens or a Web3.0 gimmick. They have a specific function: enabling anonymous, verifiable identities that can't be transferred or traded. This is crucial for maintaining privacy and trust in a decentralized network.
- 1oooqooq 2y agosolving verifiable indentities with anonymity and true decentralization would be a nobel prize achievement. yet searching for these keywords the best i get are reddit threads. not being snarky... I'd love to read something that actually goes into more detail eventually
- sanity 2y agoDid you read the introductory article[1] about ghost keys? Ghost key verification is decentralized, they are created centrally but anonymously (relying on the well-established RSA blind signature algorithm[2]). We also have a novel proposal for an entirely decentralized system called Proof of Trust[3], which relies on the scarcity of reciprocal trust to make identity creation expensive (without burning energy like proof-of-work).
