I follow your point a bit: I do hate not owning the vehicle, because that's is, newer cars are not of their formal owner but of the OEM. Nevertheless most people do not care, they do not even understand the difference between something they own and something they can only use as long as the OEM allow them to, but they do know prices, they know something is sold at way too big price especially if it have a way too short useful life...
