I completely agree. A lot of conversations I have with friends and colleagues who’ve picked up rust is around this. Even if they don’t stick with rust, the number of edge cases it makes them aware of that their C/C++ code doesn’t handle is already a win. Just the “what, this can fail?” is value enough.
