Saying this as someone with a fairly loud car (when the exhaust flaps are open) - good. Stock exhausts should follow laws, and manufacturers have been ignoring the limits in the USA at least quite flagrantly. Also, for non-moving car related violations, the impact of an incorrect ticket is very much not the same as the impact of being falsely accused and arrested. Automation in this very narrow case seems like the tradeoffs are worth it, just like automated bus lane tickets.
