Has HN jumped the shark? #cantbelievethisisatthetop
- cremnob 14y agoI'm pretty proud, this is my first submission on the frontpage and it's number 1.
- meric 14y agoIt certainly demonstrating the usefulness of a well-executed marketing manoeuvre.
- kevinh 14y agoContent like this has reached the top from time to time for at least as long as I've been frequenting this site (about three years). It's amusing to note that these comments generally come from people with new accounts. It's so prevalent, in fact, that the guidelines specifically state "If your account is less than a year old, please don't submit comments saying that HN is turning into Reddit. (It's a common semi-noob illusion.)".
