CDC warns against eating recalled deli meat as deadly listeria outbreak expands
- bell-cot 2y agoIs there a good reason for CNN left-padding both the headline and story with verbiage about the CDC? Vs. (say) "Contaminated deli meat recall - death toll is still rising". I'm not aware of any political or religious faction that denies the dangers of eating bad meat, and that it's the CDC (vs. FDA, or Ag. Dept., or whoever) sounds like an only-matters-to-regulatory-geeks detail. And public health & safety warnings need to GET TO THE POINT.
