Reflect Orbital – selling sunlight using a constellation of in-space reflectors
- thayne 2y agoWhat a terrible idea. For one thing, this is way worse for light pollution, and interfererring with astronomy, and ecology than the constellations of satellites that aren't designed specifically to be reflective. This would basically be dumping more heat onto the earth's surface. Not a great idea when we're already worried about the planet heating up.
- ortusdux 2y agoYes, personally I find the idea repugnant. I'd like to see international treaties that ban things like this - especially space based advertising.
