Again, not really the point.
So long as Meta can say their platforms are open, they have a bulwark against regulators and/or being broken up.
It really doesn't matter to them if it's popular or not.
- crowcroft 2y agoI would go as far as to say they don't really want it to be popular, but I would love to see enough integration for there to be at least some attempt at competition.
