Would Google have been more successful if it had been split up a la Ma Bell?
- tinyhouse 2y agoMaybe. It's clear they need new leadership.
- janice1999 2y agoIs it possible to split it up? All the money comes from advertising and major products exist to capture (email, Chrome, phones, wearable, assistant) or analyse (ML) personal data for that purpose.
- nostrademons 2y agoSuccessful by what definition? It would probably be less profitable. It would probably have had more impact on computer science and people's lives, and be more popular.
