Hi HN! I'm George Arrowsmith and I'm really pleased to announce my new course, Learn Phoenix LiveView. It's a written tutorial that will teach you how to build a Slack clone in LiveView. I'm not officially affiliated with the Phoenix team in any way, but I'm head over heels in love with Phoenix and LiveView. They make it soooo fast and fun to build a web app that I never want to go back to anything else. But I struggled to find good learning material when I started - so I've decided to create some. My goal has been to create a completely thorough and comprehensive resource that takes people from beginner to advanced and teaches them everything they know to build a rich, fully-featured LiveView app. So the course isn't just about LiveView - it teaches the full Phoenix stack including Ecto. I really wanted to create a realistic app for this tutorial. So many existing courses teach you only how to create silly, contrived micro-apps that don't have any of the complexity and trade-offs of a real production app. I really hope people enjoy this tutorial and that I can help more people experience the power of Phoenix LiveView!
