This is an interesting approach and surely a game changer for any side… I recall years back watching a video on a Russian university equivalent of STEM research project. The video showed students making drones from scratch and the comments made a mockery of the research; something in the realm of “they are making drones while we already have plenty in the market”. Needless to say that it’s one thing to buy a drone and another to make a drone that you control and can customize for whatever environment or needs.
