Pipes aren't used everywhere in production in hot paths. That just doesn't happen.

- throwway120385 2y agoWhat production? You need to check your assumptions about what people do with general purpose computers and why. Just because it doesn't happen in your specific field of computing doesn't mean it never happens anywhere or that it just isn't important.
