I was one of the last years to be taught touch typing and cursive in grade school, I currently type about 110 on a good day and get compliments on my handwriting. Other than those bragging rights, I have nothing to show for it. My time in those classes could have likely been better spent with more time devoted to home ec, mathematics, and sciences. Education is tricky!
