If I'm moving a long distance (which I've done a few times in my life so far), I usually try to sell as much furniture as possible rather than moving it with me. It's already easier to sell Ikea furniture as people will search for a specific Ikea item that they're looking for. If Ikea makes this process even easier, that's all the more reason to prefer Ikea furniture.
